We
hope 2009 is finding you happy and well. Unfortunately due
to the economic conditions of the past year, we have had to
downsize and will no longer be able to offer rooms at the
South Wind Motel. It is now owned by someone
else.
The
good news is that we are back! Now we get to slow down a
little bit and visit with many of you we have missed over
the years because we were spread too thin. Whether you call
to make a reservation and speak to Sharon, check in with
Tim, find Tom roaming the parking lot, or even see April
chasing after the housekeepers... We will again be happy to
serve you. We are also making as many improvements as we can
-- the old fashioned way -- a little at a time, because the
lending market is not lending. However, we know you will be
as excited as we are about the changes!
From
our facelift in the office area, to the new condo
at Admiral's Quarters, even the efficiency apartments
at Sand Dunes, you will see new things we are offering.
We are also making every effort to be "greener" with
our cleaning products and energy conservation. We are proud
to make a difference, no matter how small! On that note, we
are not going "green" to raise your prices, so don't worry.
We will do what we can, within our means.
This
will be some of the best news you've gotten this year: NO
RATE INCREASE FOR 2009! That's right, come vacation in
our oceanfront rooms for 2008 prices and enjoy even
CHEAPER RATES on non-oceanfront rooms!
Please
check our motel websites for some updated photos of the
condo at Admiral's Quarters -- (dishwasher-flat screen TV-1
bedroom-2 bath-sleeps 4) and the efficiency apartments at
Sand Dunes (for larger groups, and budget friendly) which
each also offer 2 baths, full kitchens and sleeping for up
to 6!
We
are offering a different special each month this year, so
tune in to our website for details. For March, there is a
weekend special: Stay any 2 nights in an oceanfront room
for $150 plus tax and receive 4pm checkout the 3rd
day!
So
if you just need a break, come on down in March, we'll have
the sun, the sand and the ocean waiting for you...and we'll
even give you a little extra time...
We
appreciate your patience and your patronage in
2009,
Tim and
